I started as and Educational Technician in 1979 and then taught grades K-8 (wherever they needed me) until 1996. I taught all subjects and, eventually focused on Reading, Writing and History. I acquired my MA Degree in Educational Leadership and was K-8 Principal for 4 years. In 2020, I moved to the Orrington School Department as a Reading Recovery Teacher and Title I Reading/Math Coordinator. I assumed the role of Curriculum Coordinator and Assessment Coordinator about 5 years later and taught Reading Recovery and Grade 6 Reading, Writing and History for the remaining of my career.
