Hello! My name is Vic and I have over 40 years of experience teaching guitar, bass, voice, piano, music theory, songwriting, composition, and performance to students of all ages and ability levels.

All the programs I offer are personalized, OnLine, one-on-one courses. Included, are many combination programs which combine two or more disciplines - for example, courses which combine guitar with voice training or with songwriting, or piano with music theory.

Each course is custom-tailored to the needs and ambitions of each student. I am very successful at helping students to begin playing, singing, or composing soon after beginning their studies.

I currently have various openings at convenient times during the week.

Experience Description
I have owned/managed my own private music teaching business since 1978. I have personally taught well over 2400 students in a variety of music-related subjects including, guitar, electric bass, piano, voice, songwriting, composition, music theory, and music performance. Over 80 of those students have gone on to a variety of professional activities ranging from live performance to recording (and touring) to becoming teachers in their own right. I began studying music (guitar) while yet 12 years old and joined my first band the following year. During my Junior High and High School years, I was active in performing throughout the community and, in High School, was a busy songwriter/composer both inside and outside of the school programs. In the 1970s I recorded and toured briefly before settling into a career as a full time music teacher. Since starting my own teaching business I have continued to perform live throughout So. California. I recorded an album of my original material in 2020 and continue to dedicate myself to music instruction, through the online medium.
