I am a fully qualified teacher/ tutor with over ten years of experience, teaching from Primary to GCSEs/IGCSEs. I have lots of SEND experience and home-schooling experience. I specialize in teaching Maths and English (Language and Literature). I have experience working with AQA and Edexcel exam boards. My English Literature specialisms are Romeo and Juliet, Macbeth, Lord of the Flies, An Inspector Calls, A Christmas Carol, and Great Expectations, along with the Power and Conflict and Love and Relationship poetry anthologies. I tailor all of my tutoring sessions to each individual pupil's needs. I aim to provide a positive learning experience, developing confidence, knowledge and independence. I ensure all of my sessions are engaging, allowing lots of opportunities for questioning and to 'have a go'. I deal with any gaps in learning and any misconceptions, along with providing challenge.
